What site changes are included in maintenance hours?
Changes include any text or image change that will take us 30 minutes or less. This typically covers things like updating page content, adding a testimonials section or editing your menu items.
These tasks do not cover advanced or custom features like an online shop or membership section. They also don't cover graphic design tasks.
Simply send us an email with clear instructions on the content you want to change on your website.
What if I need work completed that is outside of the maintenance plan?
We can help you with all your website needs. If you have a task that is beyond what is included in your plan, simply let us know and we’ll create a separate quote. See everything we can do.
What plugin licenses are included in the maintenance plans?
Our premium plugin library is constantly growing. When you sign up for any of our maintenance plans you get access to the following plugins: Advanced Custom Fields, Oxygen Builder, Fluent Forms Pro, WPPay Forms Pro, SEOPress, Tickera, WP All Import, WP All Export, Microthemer, Happy Files. In the scenario you cancel your maintenance plan with us, you will be responsible for purchasing any plugin licenses you require.
What if my website is hacked or goes down?
The primary purpose of a care plan is to provide you with security in the scenario that your WordPress website is hacked or compromised. The regular work carried out each month makes it very difficult for malicious activities to harm your website.
In the event your website does go down, we can restore it quickly using a nightly backup. This gives you peace of mind and allows you to get back to work as soon as possible.
Payments are automatically charged to your designated credit card once a month from the day of subscription.
Note: if your business requires a tax invoice for payment to be made, please contact us directly rather than signing up online.
What is not included in the maintenance plans?
Maintenance plans are designed to keep your website health in check and to monitor security and performance issues. We will also complete small site changes as long as they fit in with the maintenance hours supplied in your purchased plan.
Some things that aren't included in our plans, including unlimited support hours, unlimited phone calls, and custom features that require coding. All site changes (besides updates) must be submitted to SevenDev and will be approved on a case-by-case basis.
Do you offer custom maintenance plans?
We are certainly happy to discuss your unique requirements and provide your business with a custom maintenance plan. Monthly pricing would be determined by the level of service and inclusions needed. Please feel free to send us a message regarding custom maintenance plans through our contact page.
Do you only offer maintenance plans for WordPress?
Yes. We exclusively work only with WordPress. Our team has over a decade of experience working with WordPress and knows the ecosystem inside and out. We do not have this level of expertise with other platforms and therefore couldn’t provide the same level of service.
Do unused support hours roll over to the next month?
No. Support hours are assigned for the current month and do not carry over if they are not used.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. There are no lock-in contracts unless you have signed one as part of a project. Simply email
[email protected] and we will cancel your payment subscription immediately. Please note that there are only a small number of maintenance care plans available. If you cancel, it may be difficult to secure a new spot if you decide to come back.
What is not covered by development plans?
Development plans are very inclusive but there are several items of work that aren’t covered. These include:
- Full site builds
- Social media marketing
- Graphic design
- SEO
Can development plans be purchased by other web agencies?
Development plans are typically not designed with web agencies in mind, however, we are certainly open to having the discussion. Please feel free to contact us using this form and we and talk further about a possible partnership.
How long does it take to complete development requests?
It does depend on the complexity of the work. Typically small alternations can be completed within 24-48 hours however timelines for more complex functionality will be determined and communicated to you by your designated developer. When a development request has been submitted we will discuss the implementation of the work and provide you with an estimated delivery time and hours required.
What payment options are available for development plans?
Development plans are paid by credit card and payments are made automatically every 30 days. As with all plans we offer, payment is made upfront before any work is carried out. We use secure payment processing through Stripe and we do not store any credit card information.
Are there any lock-in contracts?
No. You may cancel your development plan at any time. As you pay for your monthly plan upfront, you can still use your plan hours until your billing period has concluded.
Are there any warranties on work?
Yes. When we develop new elements for your website we expect them to be typically bug-free and functional. In the case that code is not functioning as expected, we will fix the issues without deducting time off your dedicated development hours.
